Done!! I've finally finished my 2nd digital drawing (critiques are more than welcome! Thank you!!) . I transformed that "old" drawing of mine: [link] Here you can see the Before/Now: [link]
It's a cartoon version of the Egyptian lion-goddess Sekhmet, a protective and motherly deity (yes, yes... ).
I've to admit, she's often pissed off and in a bad mood. She was created in order to subdue the rebellous Humans, but became blood thirsty and couldn't stop the killing... But no worries! There's a way to calm her down: alcohol.
Like all the mothers, she's a terrible defender of her offspring. She presides over an tort-... execution chamber (sorry ^^ ), where the Creators ennemies are slain.
There's a mention, in a funeral text, of blue flames rising toward the sky, in connection with Sekhmet. Tomorrow I'll find the reference and write it there.
The texts mention her crimson dress (related to danger, blood, life). The thousands statues made by Amenhotep III and others kings (example: [link] ) were my main inspiration. Some have traces of red painting, on the bracelets, collar, muzzle, and... eyes!... The Egyptians could wear red rings, at the left ring finger, in order to protect their hear against the goddess.

Generally I like more the traditional version. There's something captivating in this work. The combination of egyptian goddess and a kind of a fetish dress is very effective c: And of course the expression on her face - very well done.
