Nightmares are creatures from Dungeons and Dragons rpg too. They're demon horses, with horsehairs and hoofs in fire and red eyes, very evil. They only allow evil demons and blackguards to mount them and when they are really big are called Cauchemar, that is the french word for 'Nightmare'.

When I read the book I really though in Nightmares when I read the description of the Thestrals. Even the image, without the wings, remember me the Magic: The Gathering card 'Nightmare' too.

I'm out of the point, I think... Well, about the pic, I like it. The sinister halo that has the whole picture is amazing and the detail is very cool. I like specially the wings and the complete black and white desing. Very cool.
